1.  В кастрюле растопите сливочное масло, добавьте очень тонко нарезанный лук, посыпьте 1 чайной ложкой соль и 0,5 чайной ложкой перца и хорошо перемешайте. Уменьшите огонь до маленького и готовьте лук, пока он не станет коричневым (это займет 20-40 минут).

• 2.  Очистите помидоры от семечек и порежьте на небольшие кусочки. Добавьте к луку и перемешайте. Налейте бульон и добавьте тмин, лавровый лист и варите 1 час. Посолите и поперчите суп по вкусу, разлейте по сервировочным мискам и подавайте с гренками с грюйером.
